Position Overview: Panga Capital is seeking a DeSci Research Analyst to support our investment decision-making in the BioDAO space. This Analyst will research emerging BioDAO projects, assist in identifying key biotech researchers in Asia, and help establish new BioDAOs. The role will also involve strategic analysis of investment opportunities, including acquiring DAO tokens and IP NFTs from BioDAO projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· BioDAO Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on BioDAO projects and decentralized biotech opportunities. Analyze emerging trends in Web3 and blockchain’s application in biotech research.

· Identify & Engage Researchers: Identify and reach out to leading Asian biotechnology researchers. Build relationships and facilitate discussions about establishing BioDAOs for their research projects.

· Set Up BioDAOs: Assist in creating BioDAOs by coordinating with biotech researchers, guiding them through DAO setup processes, and ensuring alignment with Panga Capital’s investment strategy.

· Investment Strategy Support: Support the team in evaluating BioDAO projects for potential investment. Research the viability and potential returns of acquiring tokens and IP NFTs associated with each BioDAO.

· Community Engagement: Leverage Web3 community platforms to engage with researchers and community members, fostering interest in establishing BioDAOs.

Qualifications:

· Web3 Knowledge: Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, DAOs, blockchain, and NFTs. Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus.

· Biotechnology Academic Research Experience: Background in biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field. Experience in academic research is required.

· Community Engagement Experience: Experience working with or within Web3 communities (e.g., Discord, Telegram, Twitter), and understanding how to engage researchers and enthusiasts in the Web3 space.

· Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct detailed research, analyze data, and provide insights to inform investment decisions.

· Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with international researchers and team members.

· Self-Starter with Initiative: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and proactively identify new opportunities in the Web3 and biotech spaces.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with BioDAO or similar decentralized projects in the biotech sector.

· Knowledge of the Asian biotech landscape, especially in countries like China, India, South Korea, Japan, or Singapore.

· Familiarity with IP NFTs and their role in biotech and intellectual property management.
